Ken Tucky Tours is known for its outstanding tour guides and our Chief Tour Guide is Ken Orwick. Here are a few comments we have received on guided tours he has conducted:

  • A prior tour guest, Mike M posted this, “OMG, I never laughed so hard or had so much fun. You gotta do this!
  • Sophie J, a recent Derby guest passed along, “Best day ever! Everybody was crazy about the tour guide, what a hoot.“
  • Sam S, “…couldn’t believe this guy, Ken. Boy does he know his Ky Derby stuff. No one could stump him”

So, I guess it was true when GQ Magazine heralded Ken by saying, “ …when visiting Louisville, request as your guide, Mr. Ken Orwick, a track historian and raconteur whose gangster grandfather ran hooch through Louisville during prohibition.” This same article named Louisville as “The Manliest Town in America.”
